PCPC Annual California Lobby Day
In April our Vice President Georgia Boehm, attended the Council's annual California Lobby Day in Sacramento. It was a day to meet with Legislative offices on legislative priorities and industries issues of concern. Three bills of focus for the day: SB 1130 (false advertising), AB 2125 (healthy nail salon recognition program), AB 2827 (advertising: made in USA).CA lobby day
Georgia joined Personal Care Products Council staff members; also shown are other members of industry, a faithful public servant and the California State bear, in front of the Governor's Office.

International Cosmetics: A Successful Exhibit at Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2015 For the third consecutive year, International Cosmetics traveled to Bologna, Italy to exhibit at Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2015, the largest and most prestigious trade show in the global world of cosmetics. The March 2015 show, ended with a record-breaking 248,000 visitors (+20% compared to 2014), 80,000 coming from abroad (+30%), symbolizing the international leadership of the event. There were almost 2,500 exhibitors at the show, 70% of them traveling from abroad, as well as 1,070 journalists, 540 bloggers with over 100,000 followers and 2,200,000 contacts on social networks."The enormous success of Cosmoprof which brought to Italy and Bologna the global industry of cosmetics and beauty from all over the world, is a truly exceptional event!" said Duccio Campagnoli, President of BolognaFiere.
